watch care

Built to last. But only if you treat it right.

CASE & BRACELET

Your watch case is made from stainless steel or brass. Both are tough. However, no material is immune to wear or damage.

  • After wearing, wipe it down with a soft dry cloth.
  • For a deeper clean, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap. Dry it fully straight after.
  • Do not use rough cloths, sponges, or abrasive cleaners. They will scratch.
  • Take it off before handling cleaning products, bleach, or chemicals. These corrode the metal over time
LEATHER STRAP
  • Leather looks better with age but only if you look after it.
  • Keep it dry. Leather and water do not mix well.
  • Take your watch off before swimming, showering, or heavy sweating.
  • Let it breathe. Do not store it in a sealed bag or airtight container.
  • Apply a small amount of leather conditioner occasionally to prevent cracking.
  • Keep it away from direct sunlight. It will dry out and fade.
RUBBER & SILICONE STRAP

These straps are tough and water friendly. Still, a little care goes a long way.

  • Rinse with fresh water after contact with salt water or chlorine.
  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Mild soap is fine.
  • Avoid contact with solvents or strong chemicals. They degrade the material.
  • Do not leave in direct sunlight for long periods. Heat causes rubber to harden and crack.
WATER RESISTANCE

Your watch is water resistant but that does not mean waterproof. Know the difference.

  • Check the case back of your watch. Your water resistance rating is engraved here.
  • 5 ATM: Resistant to splashes and rain. Not for swimming or submerging.
  • 10 ATM: Safe for swimming and surface water activities. Not for diving.
  • Never press buttons or adjust the crown while the watch is wet.
  • Hot water (showers, hot tubs, saunas) weakens seals faster than cold. Avoid these even with a water-resistant watch.
GLASS FACE
  • The crystal protects the dial. Protect the crystal.
  • Clean with a soft dry cloth. For smudges, a slightly damp cloth works fine.
  • Avoid placing your watch face-down on hard surfaces.
  • Mineral glass resists scratches well. Acrylic glass is softer, take extra care.
MOVEMENT & SERVICE

Your watch is a precision instrument. A little care keeps it running well.

Do not open the case back yourself. This can damage the movement and compromise water
resistance.

If your watch uses a battery, always have it replaced by a professional. This ensures proper sealing
and prevents damage.

WHAT TO AVOID
  • Perfume, hairspray, and sunscreen. Put your watch on after these, not before.
  • Chlorine, salt water, and cleaning products.
  • Extreme hot or cold. Both stress the seals and materials.
  • Wearing it while sleeping. Straps and clasps wear faster than you think.
  • Strong magnets. They can affect the movement accuracy.

One simple rule: Put it on last. Take it off first.
